GETTING A GRIP

Font size: Decrease font Enlarge font

If you find that you cannot hold the bottom with your grip lead because the legs are breaking out due to the strong tide pull,  then a simple tip is to use an elastic band.

Tie on an Elastic Band - Tie a strong elastic band to one of the wires of your lead

Wrap around Sinker to Add Tension - Wrap the elastic band around the sinker, covering the wires beneath the beads. You can adjust the tension by adding or
reducing the number of wraps of the elastic band.
