Over 30 NESA members and a few invited guests took part in the event which was held on on Friday 26th November and was organised by Jim Gillett (AKA willywetegg).

Competition boundaries were Tynemouth Pier (excluding the pier and its foundations) in the South to Blyth West Pier in the North.

The results were:

BIGMAN1 14 fish for 8lb 2 oz.
sless 7 fish for 4 lb.
fishfinder 2 fish for 2 lb 15 oz.
daveyred 3 fish for 2 lb.
Boblydon 1 fish for 1 lb 10 oz. H.S.F.
S Fletcher 2 fish for 1 lb 10 oz.
B.Tweddle 2 fish for 1 lb 6 oz.
mickyquail 2 fish for 1 lb 3 oz.
Bert 1 fish for 1 lb 2 oz.
Mark 1 fish for 8 oz.

The estimated amount raised for the RNLI on the night is £235.00

As that figure is likely to rise, I\'ll update this post when the totals are finalised.
