Smoothounds are now a targetable species on the Lincolnshire coast - within ten years I reckon these fish will be on the beaches of the North East! If you look at where these fish were being caught ten years ago to now, I think you\'ll agree.
Have you noticed how many velvet crabs are around now? Surely predatory fish will follow these. The velvet crabs are absolutely wiping out the ordinary shore crab. Unless the smuts turn up double quick, will the ordinary shore crab be killed off? Who knows? But, one thing is for sure, smoothies are definately heading this way...
