Just returned from my caravan in Drummore(Luce Bay side) a few hours ago.

Actually fished at Portpatrick this afternoon. It was just a quick one hour session though :( Missed two cracking takes on ledgered sandeel.

Try fishing the \"Yellow Isle\". Go up the stairs to the north of the harbour and follow the path alongside the golfcourse. Just about 200yds past the radio masts you will see a path cutting down to some yellow lichen covered rocks. It is well worth a try.Its a good species mark. well worth trying a bit spin as well :)

Not sure about digging local bait so take some over or try the Sports Shop in Stranraer or Ardwell Marine. Ledgered sandeel is well worth a shot :)

A better mark is the south end of the mull. About a 30 min drive from Portpatrick. Park up at the lighthouse carpark and go through the gate on the east side of the car park and follow the wall all the way down. Pollack, mackerel, wrasse,LSDS,conger aplenty.

Tight lines
