Talking making of crab pots

hi does anybody know were i can get net from for my own crab pots.as it got a special name

I think they make it by hand I used to make my own nets for ferreting and would think it would be along the same lines , do google search for net making or try and get some old trawler net hope this helps

Just buy them £5 on ebay for the fold away ones,they are the ones i use and they work.

Little tip thou, add more lead as the lead they come with dont hold bottom very well if your dropping around our waters.

I found the little fold away ones can get shredded very quickly though if they get bounced about near any rocks

if you want net, get yourself down the quayside and either try Caley or ask some of the boats for some old trawl net from the cod end
