I normally have the camera set to at least 3 million megapixels but I had to email the pics so kept resolution to a min.

I reckon the bird would be the size of a wood pidgeon so if it's an osprey it would have to be very young. To the right of the shed is a field with long grass and the bird looks to be flying upwards so it could be a spooked corncrake

Here's one of a kestrel taken on our coast during a low water recce. Anyone recognize the mark? It's North of the Tyne

Looks suspiciously like a hummingbird to me (the non-legged type).

Is that kestrel looking for peelers ?????

Cullercoats just North of Marconi point (North crab hill)

Here's another taken in 2006 when we had them massive tides
