Default Adios Amigos

Just sold up and bought this little cottage. Three months graft to get it up to scratch but it's right between The Mull/Luce Bay, Isle of Whithorn and Wigtown Bay. Roll on next season

The plan is to be 75% self sufficient by this time next year. I'ts not very big and I'm lining it with K18 so the heat from the 3 dogs should heat the whole place lol. Solar panels for hot water and wood burning stove for cooking and heating. There will be back up appliances but hardly ever used. A scavengers license is £20 a year from the council and if you get permissions you can pick up as much fire wood as you like. There's loads of garden space for growing stuff, greenhouses and apple trees. Can't wait to get started

Update: contracts at this end are done and dusted but there's complexities at the other end and we cant complete for another 3 weeks. Have rented a static van and got nothing to do except eat, drink and fish for 3 weeks.

Is anyone clued up on the dongle dangley hoojars to get mobile broadband? I'm told there's an O2 mast in the area if this helps. I've dont the goole thing and as usual there's 50 gazillion deals which all suit my needs perfectly
