A casting event in December was likely to be very unpredictable, but it turned out to be a reasonably good day, weather wise. The day started out very cold but dry S-SE wind of 8-15mph wind followed by rain in the afternoon.John Brimblecombe from lancaster made the trip over to win the event,but not far behind was our up coming caster Jamie Blakeman digging in and achieving another pb and 2nd place.Theres more to come from these lads,well done. 2 club records established on the fixed spool by Will Powell,a great day despite the rain.
