instead of throwing them back in the water put one spike of your griplead in its gill clover and lower it down to the water-works a treat and it dosnt harm them.

I\'ll try that next time, Ralph.
On Shields pier, it\'s not too bad at high water and I\'d say most, if not all, those I\'ve put back have swam away unharmed. Low water is a different matter as there\'s a heck of a drop down to the water. |
