Default Derwent Today

First time I've ever fished here and had the best days fishing yet.

Only started fluffchucking last year and spend most my time at either higham or sharpley.
Haven't been out all summer so my casting was a bit off to say the least..lol

Anyway arrived about 12.30pm and my mate took me to the bay of plenty.

Walked away with 6 fish. 3 on an orange fritz, 1 on a diawl bach, 1 on a polyfritis and 1 on a montana fished under an indicator.

My mate only managed the one even tho' he fished next to me with the same methods. Guess it was just my day today.

Will go there more often next year as it's getting to the time when the sea fishing gear comes out.

Cheers

Tony

Cheers lads.

Coddy mate, you should give this fluffchucking a try in the summer. It's a lot better than rockhopping for a blank!!!

Mick, I reckon it was just luck that i caught that many. Never happened before, infact i dont think i've ever got past 3.

Cheers

Tony
