FISHING REPORT 07/10/08

Colder weather has moved the fish deeper. Intermediate lines and lures such as Cats, Zonkers, and Frtiz's have been taking plenty of fish and also the ever dependable Blob fished under an indicator. Late afternoon has seem some rising fish and Daddy's or CDC patterns have all been working.
Remember the West House Winter League starts on the of 26th of October. Please telephone to book a place as its sure to be busy

William Edwards of Yarm caught a Rainbow of 16lb on a Black Zonker a fish which took him over 20 minutes to land. Robert Jackson of Darlington laned 12 fish during a morning session all caught on a selection of Fritz' fished slowly on an intermediate line.
Mel Rogan an Irish visitor had a very good day catching 9 fish in total including a Blue of 8lb 4oz and a bonus Perch of over 2lb.
