We arrived at loch foot about 6.30am and first thing i did was to set up the pike rods , did this [three] two on ledger one on float ,mick set up his two pike rods ,one on ledger one on float , jeff the other member of the squad, only went to do some coarse fishing , we also had our coarse gear with us .After about 2 hrs and no runs, both mick and myself decided that we would get our coarse gear set up,as jeff is the master in the squad at this coarse fishing lark, he showed us how you are supposed to go about it [groundbait etc, etc] and soon after, both mick and myself were catching fish , we caught perch, bream, and roach, this went on all day ,jeff had over 100 fish,i had about 30 and mick about the same, until the wind got up ,this combined with the very heavy rain and we had to call it a day .We packed up about 4.00pm ,so it was still quite a long session, shame about the lack of pike, but really enjoyed the day out, its strange that when your gear is dry its heavy but when it gets soaking, it almost doubles in weight ha ha ha

Shame about the lack of Pike Karl ,we've struggled there a couple of times mate ,apparently it's always been a cracking venue from the boat.
