Default WELL....IT\'S OFFICAL......

Just got back in from handing over the £1000 cheque raised from the last shore comp + the auction + £300 quid donated by IanW and the lads at Siemmens to the RNLI.

As usual, Micheal Charlton came along to accept the cheque on behalf of the RNLI......the money raised will be going towards their Grace Darling Museum Appeal, as agreed.

Now that the cheque has been handed over, I can now say OFFICIALLY that the total amount raised by NESA for the RNLI IS £5000.....

Many thanks and well done to all who have enabled us to reach such a total.

Many thanks also to the following for turning up tonight.....

IanW
Clare
Marc
Jim
Bob & Kate

Just wish I didn\'t have to drive home.........would\'ve loved to have stayed and made a bit of a night of it......but it\'s no fun if you have to go onto orange juice......lol

Well done to every one who helped to raise the money, we all had a great night last night but was a shame so many members had other commitments and missed out on having a few beers...next time Tony you will have to get the ferry over and leave the car at home

I think a NESA pub crawl is called for.....or if not at least a full night in a pub with no other reason to be there apart from drinking beer and having fun

£5000?!!!! What a result!!

I think it\'s especially amazing as you guys have done it off your own backs.

NESA wasn\'t set up to raise funds for the RNLI, but I think I speak for everyone when I say that I\'m proud that it has taken it upon itself to do so!

Tight lines,

Elton

No, not on that occasion Bri.

Low-key event and I kept a low profile.......no cameras allowed.........

Infact the cheque was passed over, under the table.
