fished the above l/night from say 7.45 till 12.40.mostly just after l/water.
BRIANJ,also at last minute fished aswell.
    Brain 1st cast codling 2.15lb,GETIN.
SADLY,not 1 more bite between us rest of session.so i blanked @ Brainj beat me in my own back garden, lol.
both very dissapointed as seas looked spot on.
tackle box lids were glittering with the ice,but i suppose with us moving about it wasent to bad, mind after walking up them 129 to our cars they were also well iced up.
still we gave it a go,aswell as some good craic.

          Hard luck Reg!

Often looked at Marsden, but haven't fished it yet.
Not sure as which bit to fish, tho it all looks fishy ?
I was told it can be dodgy parking, and have always been put off leaving car at top as even if you spotted anything untoward the steps would seriously, in my case, inhibit any timely response ?
Do you ever get any bother ?

          Mel....

i park just outside c/p,its like a horse shoe bit,if that makes sense.
as sometimes {this time of year},can get icey in carpark.

if u worried like and want a really safe option my mate used to go and park on estate its only bout 50/ 70 yards more to walk, that if u go down grotto way, or if u wanna go down other end , (the stone steps) just park in big car park left of grotto as there is always some one in there and u can also park there if going grotto way aswell

                Reg, Waco,
                thanks for info. lads !
I will give it a go.
Would you class it as a low or High water mark ?
Reason I ask is I try to make a full day of it.
Travelling to either coast, W or E, is thick end of 100 mile round trip, and pass outs at a premium, fishing one end of the tide usually means i spend more time driving than i do fishing ?

thanks again, Merry Christmas and a Cod filled New Year !

                Mel....
