I have only fished that place once mate so unfortunately I can't help you, I would say someone on would be able to give you a couple of pointers but it looks as though the forum silence has returned. Good luck though.

Can be a good mark, but doesn't seem to chuck fish out like it used to...you can fish it HW or LW and casting range can vary. At HW, sometimes a modest plop of 40 yds or so can be productive, other times the fish can be further out. At LW, I usually like to give it a reasonable chuck. I like it best with a good SE sea coming round the corner over Rocky Island but it can also be fished in a small to modest northerly, although watch out for surges - especially if fishing the skeers over low...best to leave your gear well back. Casting wise, I generally use Cambois Lighthouse as an aiming point to start with, then go a bit left or right if needed...can be quite a pull at certain stages of the tide when the sea is running so I generally stick a rotten bottom on in case I drift into a snag.
