Default edible crab

dear doc.
i will keep this short could you please see if you can lift the ban of the use of edible crab for bait by recreational anglers.i look foward to your responce on this issue.i have had the chance to read on this a little and think there is a loop hole in the law which would allow anglers to use these a sea angling bait on rod and line only and i stress from the shore only.

Hi Doc. Funny this should come up but, Is there a legal size for edible crabs to be harvested.

A couple of friends of mine were at Seahouses I think and a boat landed a great big drum of small eaters.

He said that the biggest would be less than four inches accross. Is that right ?

He was asking me what they would be used for, unfortunately I couldn\'t help him.

Jim.

Jim.
