the blocks look like about 2 milimeters of the inside of a pen refill same clear colur too rutherfods sell them 1 pound a pair hope that helps mate

phill just be a man and take the burnt thumb i had to the other day burnt that much it melted my line lol bloody penn mags lol too damn fast

just bought a sl30sh this afternoon and it has come with red and white blocks the lad in frazers said to put the white ones first then the red ones . when the rain stops I will go for a few chucks and have a fiddle with them and let you all know how the results

ive got a slosh30 and it goes to fast but i frightend to take it apart incase i lose any parts like i did with my penn mag

I would say use 2 red blocks at first and then if you feel they are restricting your cast change to one red and one white. The order of braking is;

2 red = maximum braking
1 red 1 white
2 white
1 red
1 white = minimum braking
no blocks = no braking

I find one red block works well with 20lb line filled to about 3mm below the lip of the spool.

All you need to do is take the left side off (i.e. the side without the handle). There is nothing to fall out or lose in this side so you should be good. Gets a bit tricky when taking the right side off though, took me a while to get it back together
