Hi Dave
Loads, fished most of the rock edges around that area Dunskey Castle, at Portpatrick, North side of Port Pogan pasased the aqarium, Mull of Galloway and West Tarbett, most will give up Pollack. For the best results I have found that fishing the last hour and a half before dark is best especilly if you can get it to coincide with low water. Tactics i used where a 4-6\" lenght of fresh mackerel on a 4/0 hook and 1-2oz sinker on a long flowing trace cast into any tide rips. For more but smaller fish spinning especailly from the marks along the east side of the Mull will get results.
