Default lost rod

I was fishing Lynemouth beach today for a few hours, I started on the beach just next to the pipe and when the tide got a bit higher I moved up onto the block at the end of the pipe. About an hour later a noticed something long and black floating out to sea, guess what? It was my greys apolo which I had left lower down on the rocks and totaly forgot about. After a few panic attempts to cast over it and retreive it it was out of casting distance Gutted.

Its totaly my own fault and its probably on its way to foreign waters by now but if anyone happens to come across it or hears about it could you please let me know. Its the MK2 14ft apollo and it was in the case.

Worth a try,

Cheers folks

Fingers crossed!

its a long shot but phone greys and tell them what happened
they might give you a new one
lifetime guarantee
i know a bloke was fishing the walkway in south shields,
a bird flew into his line and dragged the rod in
he contacted greys and he paid £30 (£15 for each section)
and they gave him a new rod
good luck

Good thinking sless, next problem is that when I originaly bought the rod I never got the warranty card with it. I bought it second hand but virtualy brand new from ID but was assured by the bloke that it came with lifetime warranty. Ill pop in next week and see if they can help me out with it.

Cheers
