Solid, heavy tugs on the line - Sometimes the tip may only pull over once and
stay down.
Pick up the rod and take in a few turns on the reel until the weight of the
fish is felt. With your non reel hand slip the line between your thumb and index
finger, gripping the rod between your palm and other three fingers, strike when
you feel the fish pull again.
