Angling Trust – the TV show!

Internet angling TV channel has made a free-to-view show about the launch of Angling Trust, the sport’s new umbrella governing body.

Filmed in grand surroundings in Fishmongers Hall, London, the programme presented by current international match angler, Gareth Purnell, includes interviews with luminaries like parliamentary spokesman for angling Martin Salter, international events manager Dick Clegg and five times world champion Alan Scotthorne, about why success for the Angling Trust is so crucial.

Paul Knight of the Salmon and Trout Association is also put on the spot, when asked why his organisation is the only major angling body to opt out of the Angling Trust.
