EFTTEX 2009 BOOKINGS OFF TO A FANTASTIC START

Bookings for EFTTEX 2009 have already attracted space totalling 5905 sq metres with 153 exhibitors from 37 countries confirming their attendance so far.

Despite global economic pessimism, the end of November has already seen EFTTEX bookings increasing by 9% year on year! Demonstrating that the tackle industry is forward thinking and understands the need to be more proactive than ever to maintain and develop business in hard times, particularly when the media is bombarding everyone with economic pessimism day after day.

Jean Claude Bel, EFTTA CEO said: “Those companies who choose the conservative attitude, shrinking their budgets and their presence in the market whilst waiting for better days, run the risk of not being in business when the economic climate picks up.

“Not having a presence at an international event can also be seen by your loyal customers as a lack of support in these tough times. They need you more than ever before!  If you don’t take care of them and any future potential customers, somebody else will!

“Certainly the future will be brighter for those who work hard during tough times.  As a former company manager, I know that the easiest and quickest way to save money is to cut back on sales and promotional activities but by doing so you can lose out on many sales opportunities.  EFTTEX’s main priority is to ensure our exhibitors have maximum sales opportunities and conduct quality business throughout the event.

“We are confident that by choosing to exhibit at EFTTEX, the companies who have already booked space have made the right choice by trusting an established show that demonstrates year after year its extensive experience in providing a ‘must attend’ tackle trade exhibition.

“Some of the tackle industry’s biggest names have already confirmed their attendance at the modern and stylish Hungexpo venue in Budapest next June 12th-14th. Major brands in the industry know that with the quality of visitor that the EFTTEX show attracts, they get a return on each Euro spent and so have already booked their space in order to guarantee sales for next year.

Jean Claude continues: “With the additional work currently underway to find more exhibitors, target the right people in the right countries and exceed expectations with the highest quality attendance, we believe that EFTTEX 2009 will be one of the best ever – the exhibition not to be missed.”

“Before making your decision whether to exhibit or attend EFTTEX or not -think about what return you can expect from being there and what you could lose by not being there!  A simple question which has a simple and evident answer – BE THERE!”
