    Decided to go out today for a bit of downtiding as the shore lads have started hitting into the fish now so i ser off from the marina at 9am ish headed south to souter a charter boat was already there so i dropped anchor about a mile south of him straight into fish only for him to radio me for help as his anchor line was wrapped round his prop an hour later and we freed him so i went back to my mark and fished there the rest of the day i caught 13 nowt big lots of 1lbers kept 3 3lbers had a visit off a pod of 10 dolphins managed to get a photo of one of em it was very lumpy not too cold though might do a trip 2morra tight lines

        Those conditions don't look inviting at all ! You did well, and extra brownie points too for going to help out the charter boat.

        I don't expect to do any fishing, but if conditions are okay, I will go and collect my next boat from Sunderland for the delivery trip up to Amble. Forecast keeps changing every 5 minutes though.
