Had a few hours this evening, got one out. Had a few good takes on wet and dry. Got smashed up by one fish, they don\'t stock huge fish in there so this was a rare big one or just a nutter. I was chuffed to bits as I\'d cast to it. It was feeding on the surface and I pulled a lure quickly passed where it rose. Whack, hooked itself, 2 big thumps and before I could give it any line ........ ping. 6lb tippet, no wind knots, carefully tied IMHO. Lovely evening up there and great watching the tiny brownies going crackers all over. Might just have to do it all over again some time soon. :P
