went out on tue night in the rain for an hour or two on the wansbeck, fished oposite the promenade had a few fish sucking me worm then bang i hit into a nice brownie about 14 to16 inches, it gave a good little fight but landed safley and ruturned safley to fight another day. fished with 5lb line small hook and huge lob worms. agood night apart from getting soaked
wed night, again it rains and i get soaked. fished further downthe wansbeck down past the flood wall on the middle greens
6 eels and 1x 9\" trout all returned ran out of bait so tried a small spinner
i know its maybe a little early but i did get a couple of tugs on it but did not catch. two good nights and a few fish too
