A couple of nice fish there Jim, unfortunatly the 2012 lure cahllenge was only a summer thing, Next year were running it January to December and including fresh water species

No worries, I would of been disqualified anyway as they were caught in Norway. Just put them up for the banter.

and a saith, They go nuts for lures and they are high up in the water.

I'm experimenting this year and Fishing through the Winter with Lures to see if I can pick much up.

The best time is once the water clears a bit, I tend to start in march and fish through to October the most productive time is probably April to September. All depends what your fishing for really
