Message: Im from billingham so I do most of my fishing on the hartlepool side like I did last night I first of all fished the heugh at low water and caught 8 nice cod upto 10lb 4ozs then had to move on to the green light due to the sea pounding the end of the pier.I started fishing with about 8 other lads and one off the local rock anglers had been fishing on the headland and they had been 5 double figure cod and the biggest had been neigh on 20 lbs and apparently the same lad had two more fish approching the magic 10lb mark,the fish have been pictured by the hartlepool mail and should be in the gazzette on saturday night inside the sea scene part.
