catch report s.shields pier 2/10/03

thought i\'d give the feathers a last try before this big northerly thats forecast kicks in. fished the small wall 5pm - 7.30pm loads of coalies mainly undersize but a few around the pound mark, two undersize pollock, one scad and one mackerel. might have been better if high water had been a little earlier as it was too dark to fish the last couple of hours of the flood. i might give it a go at first light in the morning as the northerly isn\'t supposed to kick in till later in the day.
after that i think we can wave bye bye to the summer species and hopefully welcome the cod season.
