had to get out today and make sure the wrasse voodoo Scott put on me had worn of (had it f***)went to crail and with it being a massive tide it paid of for going as i found holes in the kelp i never new where there.i just had a few hrs having a chuck and then moving on.ended up with 4 wrasse 1 was a cracker well over 4lb and one of the reddest codlings i have ever caught between 3-4lb.

it came out of this hole between the rock and the skeer in the middle of the picture.

i have never seen the tide come in so fast on the rockends as it did today.

I was talking to some non-fishy peeps recently and they didn't believe that such fish existed (thought I was taking the p***).

    Lovely looking fish, great pic

the fish was a lot redder than it appears in the picture,i used the flash to highlight the fish against the weed and it has lightened the colour of it,when i let it go it was well camouflaged and dissappeared in secs
