Subject: Just South of Souter Lighthouse

4 of us fished a mark near Souter Lighthouse today 11:30am to 4:30 pm and i had a codling (kelpy) about 1lb 4oz and two of the lads had 3 Rockling between them and that was it.
There were Anglers on all the "points" but heard of no other Codling.
There are just no fish about, the sea was spot on and it should have been throwing fish out.
I should be happy as i have been fishing Seaham & Grangetown over the last few weeks and had nowt but the odd Whiting.

Marty, any news of anyone fishing that mark south of the wear
