    Hi lads,

Im looking for any advice on marks, line, bait around this location also what came in handy on your trip. I have asked Phill Dale, however if anyone has photos or personal accounts of their trip would be appreciated as to get a feel of the place: weather, tackle etc. I've booked up in February, so looking forward to the trip next year with 3 friends.

    Thanks.

    Paul.

If you want to pop around I can show you the rigs we used in Flatanger this year and can offer tips on what to take and pack etc..

    Just give me a ring.
A bad days fishing is better than a good day at work.

I was there Feb 2011 & it was brilliant. Don't worry about knowing the marks as Phil is a tremendous guide & he will put you on the best marks.
There is a groyne infront of the apartments that usually fishes well.
On the opposite side of the bridge is a mark called the landing & it's great for loads of haddock & a few codling. The bigger fish tend to be at Straumen.
My favourite spot was called wolf island. Loads of fish & a great view of the northern lights.
You will have a great time over there.
I will only be out for a couple of hours pet.

few of us been before-its brilliant. Phill has tackle shop on site. Plus he lent us some fantastic gear for beach casting and spinning. He even has floatation suits.
