    Sports cast Scotland is a new club started in sunny Stranraer Scotland it is no way in anyway trying to take over from THE SCOTTISH SURFCASTING ASSOCIATION but instead trying to bring new people into the sport of surfcasting,and with having two clubs now in Scotland one in AYR (THE SSA) AND ONE IN STRANRAER (SPORTSCAST SCOTLAND) it is just doing that with a turnout of only 8 it is not to be grumbled at dates to be confirmed.
    (Conditions Northly Winds 10-15 slight cross wind.

          Am at Holyhead a lot of time and did at the end of last year ask at tackle shop not one near harbour the one at the top end about casting clubs etc and was told that there was a lad that holds casting days etc didnt look into it though.

          Its definately good for the sport, I wish there was a club closer to me..Living on Anglesey, N.Wales The two closest clubs are the NWSA (350m round trip) and NESA (500mile round trip)....There are plenty of good casters here on the island some are big hitters, but they just wont travel...[/QUOTE]

            I take it you were in Winnie's shop (Mark), as for the casting days the F4U forum held a casting day at Henblas Country Park a couple of years ago, but there has been nothing since..
            I have been looking for a field that is good enough to go casting on for the last year but all the fields are either too small or they are on the side of hills..
            From what I have been told there used to be a club at Wrexham, but that was a fair few years ago.
