Since this is such an old and depressing thread let me add to it by saying I haven’t been fishing since last August but me and Rod are off to Usan next weekend for our annual old man memorial. Still not sure how to replace the Photobucket link but I’ll try to get some photos on somehow. Am looking forward to losing some of those personalised sinkers Reg. Come and live north of the river...that’s the secret.

                Thanks Gordon,
Hopefully the weather will play ball this year, it’s been more like winter for the last few Augusts. Either way it’s got to be better than sitting in the garden, bottle of red wine by your side with the temperature in the mid 80s.........I hope.

Yer, I've booked a van at scoutscroft in a couple of weeks time for us and grand kids, just praying that the weather is Ok so me and the grandson can get a chuck off the rocks. see what happens.

Haha, the wife and I have been married for nearly 30 years now and one of the first places I took her to was Scoutcroft but we were camping. Unfortunately our week coincided with the DHSS away week. I have nothing against anyone unemployed but the number of fights, arguments and bodily movements experienced between 11.00 and 02.00 tempted us to wild camp for the rest of the week. Ideal though for the skeers of Coldingham. Good luck with the fishing.
