south beach residents ass. had a match on blyth beach last nite, best bag was 4 1/2 lb,3whiting & a flounder, best fish was a1 1/2lb codling from the harbour, a few other whiting where caught, bout time to as this was the third match this season the other two only produced one flattie in each match.

Cheers for that Bob, Blyth beach is one of my favourite marks over high water, especially the south half.

yea jim, its got some deep holes, we fished in front of the bandstand, bait was lug& squid, with a short lob out 40/50 yds, most fish came half an hour before high water in a 15 minute spell then nowt,
