Blyth West Pier

Alright lads

First post on here,thought I'd start it off with a late report from last night on Blyth Pier, well conditions was looking canny with a brisk southerly wind and a nice swell coming away but as for the fishing it was bad, went down 3 hrs before LW and fished an 1 hr after HW only caught 2 small flatties and no whiting showing which was wierd as normally theres plenty about,I had one really good knock but never connected.... totally summed up the session.
Few lads also on the pier but never seen nowt getting caught tho, used various bait like makky, razor, frozen crab,lug and blueys.

Lets hope it gets better soon

the piers always been a weird one for me one day fishes its bristols off next day same conditions nothing to be had but i guess thats the nature of the game.

Yeah deffo mate,when its good its very good, had some good bags from there over the years but I'll normally only fish there when theres a canny sea running but normally prefer Blyth beach.. well every tide is different
