Catch report - Big beach.

Decided to take my son for his first night/beach session tonight. Fished the big beach to the left of the rattler. Fished into the middle gully about 3 hrs up to top water. I had 2 flatties, 1 just over 30cm. My son had 1 undersize. There was a guy about 200 yards to our right with a couple of codling about 2Ib.
Couldn't believe how mild it was.

Good stuff mate, bet your son loved it. Cant wait til mine is old enough

Good stuff mate, its amazing how productive a sandy beach can be for flatfish. If you try either end of the beach, either nearer to the pier or the trow rocks at the south end you will turn up a few codling and coalies to go with your flatfish, tight lines
