Could anyone tell me where would be best to park 4 fishing the castle marks here as i'm looking 2 have a session up there either friday or saturday nyt depending on weather conditions, never fished these marks so any info would be great thanks?

We used to fish next to golf course seems to be a shorter walk from there.head towards the beachcthen follow the dirt path round brings you out at the castle.

infront of the houses next to the harbour but i always stay clear where it says no parking signs just incase any owners maybe be upset its a canny walk mind from the harbour to the castle :D

There is a public car park just round from the harbour have also walked from here and is a fair distance with your gear.

aye i've heard it's a canny trek like think i will b going very light (rucksack and plenty of weights as i've been told it can also be quite tackle hungry) cheers 4 the info mate.:)

Its about a mile from the harbour but it always seams further. If you have a quiver or rod holdall it really makes a difference. Depending on the conditions you could try liverpool hole and oxberrylaw hole which you pass on the way to the castle. If these marks fish you have saved yourself the long walk. tight lines anyway.

aye its the same one best nest but if you have a look on google maps you will see there is another road you can turn down and park b4 you get to golf club and park there it saves you bit of a walk as its closer than golf club

At this time of year when daylight hours are short and there isnt as many if any holiday makers in holiday lets by Craster harbour I would park there. Even in the summer months when its busy there's space by the North harbour wall if your there at first light. Think there's one day when I would give Craster a miss that when the RNLI hold there Lifeboat day.
Embelton golf course would be my second choice the club has a car park which you could pay to stay in, you would have to check most park outside on the road.
Dunstan Steads this bring you a little closer to the castle than the golf club but I wouldnt personally park there at all last time I checked it out there was to much evidense of broken car glass.
Craster to Castle via the signed footpath 1 1/4 or 1 3/4 miles cant remeber which. I quite enjoy the stroll but that incline up to the castle always gets me if there staff in the cabin at the castle its always pays to be polite and ask if its ok to walk through and finaly please take all your litter home i'm not saying you dont just reminding everyone who reads this.
