We were supposed to be taking the laddy to two parties in Morpeth this afternoon, had to say no. Took our lass an hour from Blyth to Ashington at 2pm, gone to about 6 inches of snow in the back garden.

Outside the house about ten minutes ago

Judging by the state of the spine road today i think you are right G.W.
The building site at Ashington was open today after a JCB cleared a road in.:( Then at 10.00 i dropped a frame on my little finger, amazing how much worse pain is when your fingers are freezing, its black and blue and hurts like f**k :o. God i hate this weather.:mad:

The UK have set up a think tank, no doubt well paid to figure out if we ae going to start seeing this kind of weather year in year out....good luck they cant guess the bloody weather 1 day at a time.

Well I did have a wander down to the seafront yesterday morning and took these shots at Cullercoats.

On the way back to the house I decided to de-snow/ice the car which must have taken about an hour. Driving along the seafront a bit later noticed two instances of appaling driving by a couple of 4 x 4 drivers. They were just cutting up/overtaking drivers being careful due to conditions. There are far to many idiots in charge of cars nowadays !!! Right I feel better for that LOL
