6 blanks that is. Not counting rocklings I've had nowt for 6 sessions now, it's not like I'm out all day usually 3-4 hours at a time but it's a poor run all the same. Had a cracking bite tonight which felt like a good fish but I got snagged and lost it. To top it all tonight I stood in a big pile of dog dirt on the way back to the van, doesn't seem to be many dog walkers picking up after their dogs down Whitburn way, there was loads of it tonight. Back out on the hunt tomorrow, I'll not be beat!

Came 4th with a 14 ounce whiting , 36 fished and 6 weighed in , had a flounder 28 1/2 cm but there's is 30cm and about a dozen undersized , winner had 1 codling and 1 flounder for 2lb 14 and biggest fish 2lb , he won £180 all for both 2nd had 2lb 9
