  • lowrance elite 5 fishfinder mounts

Can anyone recommend a shop local or site in the Uk that you can purchase just the mounts for a Lowrance elite 5 fishfinder?

Loads from USA but struggling to find a uk dealer.

Ow and what size fenders do you recommend for a 7m boat? i have always used the ball fenders but harder to store so looking to purchase some of the "sausage" fenders but unsure on what size ones would be best and others use.

Not sure yet mark, its one of these......

I think its some type of bracket that clips into the back of the unit rather than a width locking screw type.

                  I sense there’s a story here Richy.

My boat came with the sausage fenders which I replaced with some of the A-Series Polyform Buoys, possibly A1 or 2 sized, as they are fatter and would fill the gaps between pontoon and curving hull. Once underway they get pulled onto the walkway deck round the sides of the cabin.

If it passes its check and the sea trial goes ok this will be the new boat On-A-Roll, it is only 17 months old so should pass the checks and looks like new.
