  • Kayak ,out fishing at last 9/1/14.

Been a long three weeks since last fishing in the yak with these pesky winds. This morning looked well doeable to catch the last of the flood tide off Newbiggin.

Benny and I launched at first light

Dropped anchor in a small chop with a fresh NNW wind on our backs ,perfect no yawing about, waiting game now .

    Not long though

    Coalies among the codlings.

Change from turkey, frying the morn , grand couple hours thoroughly enjoyed, had me fix

Nice one Dave, certainly worth the effort, and a dam sight better weather than one of your snowy posts last winter. Well done mate.

Iye, that's certainly good to see, cracking catch, but hey, you did well getting a slot in the weather where you could actually go out.
