  • Cod in the fog Newbiggin by the sea 26/8/17

    After editing several times and resizing photos hope I have finaly got it right will be brief though .

    8am launch into the murk tried various methods , plenty of just size tommys put back to grow and the occasional better cod for the pot . Love the solitude of sitting in the murk with the sound of the waves breaking on the shore and the splashes from diving birds . The shads still taking fish on the drift , tried anchoring with bait just a couple of small codlings .

              nice one dave good to see ya gettin a fry, the foggy pic looks mint just like off jaws film lol how far did u go off in the fog mate,

                Aye Mark was spooky coming in saw the shore when the beacon on the end of breakwater loomed up out the fog , was fishing around the corner in 30ft in front of the White holes / Dulce Carrs then moved off into around 50ft prob a mile or so offshore .
