  • Goodbye Lazy Daze

Sad day for me a couple of weeks ago, watching my reiver sportsman disappear down the road on the back of someone else's car. Going to miss her badly.
Arthritis in hips and back was the deciding factor.
I will continue to read the reports and chat on here, and contribute whenever I can.
Good luck to all, and have a fruitful season all. Arthur.

That’s a shame Arthur, it’s the end of an era. Was it the launch and recovery that proved too much or the fishing as well?
I always enjoyed your catch reports, they let us weekend fishers know what we were missing.

Thanks everyone, been doing this for most of my life, so , like said, the end of an era.
Kevin, just my working life roofing, eventually caught up with me, and the motion of the boat rubbing my joints together gave me jip when I got home and sitting down
Possibly give a charter boat a go sometime if it's calm on the day.

That's a shame Arthur. Your more than welcome on Black Betty if you fancy it,
I am home early June so I will drop you a line.

Sad times. I would have taken you out if I still had my last boat but the new one is not such a fishing platform and sails nowhere fast. I’m sure the lads on here will look after you though.

Thanks Graham, would look forward to that and catching up. It's not all doom and gloom, some days a lot better than others.
