After the successful trip on Thursday, we were itching to reach the 6 mile zone again to pull some ling up.
Sunday looked windy and we decided to go late. When we left at 5 pm, the wind had eased off and we were in high spirits.

Caught mackies at the pierhead and off to the 6nm wrecks.
We fished the same wreck as in my last catch report and it was much more difficult to get a good drift.
The wind out there was stronger and the tidal drift not big, so the combined drift was NE-bound and gave us little wrecktime.
Seems also that every drift was in a different direction, so that we missed the big wreck all the time. I am sure Mike dreamt of me saying "wind up" and both of us have sore arms from that, especially since it was in 55m water !!

We managed 3 ling and 3 cod and with them being good size just under 10lb, we were very happy with the result of that short trip.

Arrived back in the marina when it was pitch dark, tired and happy

Never two trips alike, but the ones you got were still a good stamp, but with better conditions next trip, could put things back to rights
