Was offshore 6 miles today flat calm and very little breeze. In a favourite mark off Huntcliffe with loads of fish showing on the sounder.
Had £30 + worth of fresh and frozen bait - everything except fresh peeler.
Apart from a nice pouting- nearly 2lb !! I blanked, had a huge something on,but lost it after about 10 turns up. Got two good knocks right at the end but as I was trying to use all my bait, I had three rods out and never landed one ! Still, could have spent £60 on the lash and had a massive hangover eh!
Anybody else catching in smoggy land ??
