    Bit of a late report but me and the old man managed to get out yesterday, to do what keeps us going.

    It was a bit of a strange day, sea state wise as it kept changing from almost flat to pretty choppy off and on throughout the day.

    We headed north out of Hartepool to fish the rough ground and try a few wrecks on the way. It was a bit of a slow day catching the odd fish here and their, we did'nt get a great load of fish but had a mixed bag.
    Just thankfull to get out their.

    Catch was;

    About 8 codling, biggest 5 1/2 lb most around 2-3 lb,
    4-5 small ling,
    A few pouting,
    Few whiteys
    And a nice little flatty ( a dab maybe ).

    One of the wrecks we fish always produces a load of pouting ( now named pouting wreck), but we aso always pull a load of these slimey things in

    Not top quality pic's, just off me phone.

                      Possible Alan, we wernt too sure.

                      Have'nt a clue what them slimey things are but the wreck must be covered in them.

                        It's certainly not a dab (too big), more than likely a flounder.
                        If all about you are catching fish, cast in their swim !!!
