    Well im waiting to get my prop shaft realigned so wrnt out with alby on octavia we went north tge fishing was tough only 17 between 3 of us we kept 3 nowt big best about 3lb couldnt believe how many puffins are abot most with beaks full of sandeels tight lines

    It's alway enjoyable being able to get out on the water when it's like this. And being immersed in nature is good for the soul, even if the fishing was a bit slow. Thanks anyway for the update and the report.

    It isn't often that you can complain of it being too hot in our part of the country, but Oli took a couple of mates out on the boat today, and recorded 18 degree water temps in the marina, and between 13 and 15 around Coquet and Hauxley. He too had a quiet day, best codling being 4lb and the best pollock coming in at the same weight. A few mackerel were caught inshore too. There was very little tide, so no movement, and reckons the fish may have gone deeper to find oxygen.The bonus today was sighting dolphins off Hauxley.
