its been that long since i got out iam sure i wasnt 50
think it must be the first launch local to me this year hoping to get some mackeral in the freezer for bait but it wasnt to be
me and ian headed out from south shields beach early sat morning with gusts to about 20 mph the drift was fast and you couldnt hold bottom even with 8oz of lead
had a hour at the wreck with a few cod nothing big with a coallie on aswell they felt better than they were

decided to head out about a mile and a half to find the mackeral but none showing today and with the wind picking up i decided to head back in
heres a few photos of the day

The mackerel are a bit elusive so far this season, but at least you still managed a few fish in the breezy conditions.

Iye nice to see Jeff. You and Ian did well to brave the flippin wind. It has been relentless this year. Hopefully the near future will see things calm down a bit, and we will see each other out there.
