  • a few hours on the yak

well we headed out to a secret mark this morning that secret we had to blind fold everyone ,so it took some finding after an hours paddle we reached the mark and the fish didnt even know about it ,
but after a hour we all started getting into the fish, mostly cod but a few pollock and some nice coallies about 3lb
plenty of mackeral even though i was fishing 6/0 hokkies
biggest fish for me was 9lb with plenty between 3 and 5lb
got to get out to the wrecks when you can as we will be bait fishing before long
heres a few pics of the morning not bad for 3 hours

Great fishing, pic’s and conditions lads, the sea in the pictures could have been a garden pond it’s so calm. The stealth kayaks look interesting and a Greenland style paddle too, which is unusual. Your crew like their kit and are using it to good effect.

Wow, what a haul, and what fab conditions. I think it was me that must have been blindfolded not to have seen such a perfect day being forecast. Great pics I say sitting here green with envy.

Hopefully see you out there soon.
