  • 1st November

Well as the title says 1st November and who would have believed it flat seas sunshine and warm with it the kind of weather we would expect in august.
We left hartlepool for 0700 to be honest I wasn't expecting a lot how wrong was I we had cod from the first drop and they kept coming I am sure the other boats found it the same we tried several different marks and they all fished the same all baits took fish

Pity you couldn't make it today Duncan, it was a cracking day, some really good clean fish came aboard, only managed to lose one on the lift today (must be losing my touch), put one of Dustybins Rhubarb & custard rippers on for one of the wrecks and had two canny size cod on two drifts, soon took it off,(didn't want to spoil myself), plus I was knackered lol, all in all, everyone caught some nice bags of fish and went home happy.

Great day out Jim. Shows what can be done when neither of those old Jonah's Mark or Duncan are aboard!
